Moral Rights & Integrity Statement

Last updated: August 24, 2025

Affirms respect for the creator’s moral rights and content integrity.

Affirmation of Creators’ Moral Rights

Create It Studio Architects ("The Firm") affirms and reserves the moral rights of the creators (architects, designers, writers, and all contributors) within The Firm in all content, designs, plans, text, and media published on www.createitstudios.co.uk (the "Work").

These moral rights are personal to the creator and are protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK) and analogous international legislation. They include, but are not limited to, the right:

  1. To be Identified (Right of Paternity): The right to be clearly and correctly attributed as the author or creator of the Work.
  2. To Object to Derogatory Treatment (Right of Integrity): The right to object to distortion, mutilation, or modification of the Work which would prejudice the creator's honour or reputation.

Prohibition of Unauthorised Alteration

Any individual or entity accessing or using the Work, even under a limited license or permitted by Fair Dealing, is strictly prohibited from performing any unauthorized edits, modifications, mutilations, or derogatory treatments that:

  • Alter the meaning, intent, or artistic integrity of the original Work.
  • Present the Work in a false light or a context that could damage the reputation or professional standing of The Firm or its creators.

Unauthorized distortion or alteration of the Work, including the use of only partial images or excerpts that fundamentally misrepresent the overall design or concept, constitutes a violation of this policy.

Waiver Clause (Where Permitted)

While The Firm affirms these moral rights, we acknowledge that certain jurisdictions or specific licensing agreements may require a waiver of some or all moral rights to facilitate the necessary commercial exploitation or use of the Work.

  • In cases where a specific, separate, and explicit written licensing agreement is executed between The Firm and a third party, the terms of that agreement concerning the modification and use of the Work shall prevail.
  • Where permitted by applicable law, The Firm may, under separate agreement, grant a waiver of the right of integrity for necessary technical adaptations, provided such adaptation does not constitute derogatory treatment.

Severability

If any provision of this Statement is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be severed, and the remainder of the Statement shall remain in full force and effect.
